This is the Viva Vivas design for a small, modular seastead that focuses on having as small a unit as possible that can also be attached to others to grow over time. There is more detail on the overall concept on the Seasteading Institute’s website here:



This is just a basic skeleton so no fancy pictures or flyovers, it is more of a thought experiment than anything being pushed to get built.

And if you’re wondering, the word ‘vivas’ means life. Viva is like saying “viva Las Vegas!” (viva life!). Or a shortened version of viva ut vivas (live that you may live).
